Types of penetrating bitumen: 30-40, 40-50, 60-70, 85-100, and 160-220
The use of penetrating bitumen is mainly in road construction. For areas with hotter climates, harder bitumen (lower degree of penetration) is used, and for areas with colder climates, looser bitumen (higher degree of penetration) is used.
